I don’t think labels have to be so serious.

What do you say to someone you don’t know about violence? Everyone’s situation is different and the resources or support that survivors have access to vary—not to mention that even the most privileged are still scorned by our “justice” system. I can’t say it will be ok. I wanted my $3 to get donated, however, so this is the message I posted:

I’m sorry. You do not deserve to be treated this way. I hope you can find someone to lean on and resources to help you. I know that at times it may feel hopeless, but I hope that you can find enough light to endure. I will continue to do what I can to support survivors of violence, because I hope that one day it will not be the silent plague of our country.

Now you go & send a message so this movement receives more funding!
